In connection with recruitment at mpeople, we process your personal information as set out in this policy. mpeople is the data controller for the personal data collected and processed in connection with the processing of your application.

In this connection, we use Recruitee. The purpose of Recruitee is to facilitate the recruitment process for both you and mpeople, including enabling effective assessments of and communication with you as a candidate. In connection with the use of Recruitee, Recruitee receives personal data from the candidates and processes such personal data as part of the assessment of the candidates’ competencies and qualifications in relation to the relevant position.

Processing of personal data
We process the information, including personal information, contained in your application and your CV in order to evaluate your application. We will also evaluate and assess your performance and competencies as a result of an interview. The legal basis for our processing of your personal data is your request for our processing of your application as well as your CV prior to the conclusion of an employment contract, cf. Article 6 (1) of the Data Protection Regulation. 1, letter b.

If the position in question requires you to complete personality tests or the like, you will be informed once we have processed your application. The results of such tests are treated confidentially, but are included in our assessment of your application. The results will be deleted when the evaluation process is completed. The legal basis for this processing is Article 6 (1) of the Data Protection Regulation. 1, letter b.

As part of our evaluation of you and your application, we may obtain references from your past and / or current employers. We only obtain references if you have given your consent, cf. Article 6 (1) of the Data Protection Regulation. 1, letter a.

We recommend that your application does not contain sensitive personal information such as information that reveals racial or ethnic background, religion, union membership, sexuality, health information, etc.

Storage and deletion
If you are offered a position with mpeople, your application as well as additional personal information collected in connection with the employment will become part of your personnel file with us, and will follow our deletion policy for this.

If you are not offered a position, we will store your application and any additional personal information collected in connection with the recruitment process for a period of 3 years after our refusal, unless you have given your consent to a longer storage of such information.

If you submit an unsolicited application or simply upload your CV to our CV database, your personal information will be stored for a period of 3 months, unless you have given your consent to a longer storage of such information.

Consent
If you give your consent to this, mpeople must save your application, CV and other documents sent to you in order to be considered for any future positions that are relevant to your profile for a period of up to 3 years.

Recipients
mpeople uses the Recruitee recruitment system to manage the recruitment process. Recruitee is a cloud service developed by Recruitee B.V. Mpeople has entered into a data processor agreement with Recruitee B.V. Recruitee B.V. and their subcontractors of IT services may thus have access to personal data of candidates as part of their operation of the service. All subcontractors are covered by data processor agreements to ensure data protection in accordance with the standard required by applicable data protection law, and for subcontractors located in third countries, such transfer will be protected by the EU Commission’s standard provisions.

Your rights
You have the right to access the personal data that we process about you, however, with certain statutory exceptions. You also have the right to object to the collection and further processing of your personal data. In addition, you have the right to request that the processing of your personal data be restricted, that your personal data be corrected if this is necessary, or that your personal data be deleted in certain cases.

In special circumstances, you can also request an overview of your personal information in a well-structured, plain and machine-readable format (data portability) and ask us to transfer such information to another data controller.

You can revoke consents that you have given as part of the application or during the recruitment process at any time. Revocation of a consent will have an effect on the future processing of your personal data. If you wish to revoke a consent, please contact us as set out below.

You can ask mpeople to edit your profile at any time if you want to delete, upload and edit information.

For consultants
In connection with your registration in the freelance database at Recruitee, we process your personal information as stated in this policy. mpeople is the data controller for the personal data collected and processed in connection with the processing of your registration.
In this connection, we use Recruitee. The purpose of Recruitee is to facilitate the registration process for both you and mpeople, including enabling effective assessments of your competencies and qualifications and ensuring easy communication with you.

Processing of personal data
We process the information, including personal information, contained in your registration and your created mpeople CV in order to sell you out as a consultant / freelancer. There will be an ongoing dialogue with potential customers that we match with you and there may be evaluations and assessments of your performance and competencies via interviews with either us or the potential customer.

The legal basis for our processing of your personal data is your request for our processing of your information as well as your CV prior to the conclusion of a contract, cf. Article 6 (1) of the Data Protection Regulation. 1, letter b.
